NATES THE GREAT : SECOND INTERVIEW WITH JESSICA KIRSHNER AND JETS HIGHLIGHTS

Nate Kirshner, posted Nov 17, 2011

Winnipeg Blue Bombers vs. Toronto Argonauts on Oct 28, 2011

Chris Garret was starting at Halfback. The first play of the game was a sack by Bryant Turner from the Bombers. Dominic Picard of the Argonauts made an after the play push

After the play Dominic Picard of the Toronto Argonauts pushed Kenny Mainor of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers into Cory Boyd of the Argonauts Winnipeg and the referees thought that Kenny on purpose hit him but that is wrong I even sent a video of it.

Final Score 22-24 for the Argonauts

I interviewed Jessica Kirshner (a random interview) and here’s what she said.

Q. Was that your first football game that you saw on TV?

A. Yes it was. I've seen a bit of football but honestly it was the first.

Q. What was your favorite part of the game?

A. Like most people I liked when the Blue bombers scored touchdowns. Overall I thought it was great.

Q. What was your least favorite part of the game?

A. At the beginning Dominic Picard (Toronto) pushed Kenny Mainor (bombers) and the referee gave Winnipeg a penalty when it should've been Toronto that got a penalty.

Q. What is your favorite to watch on TV?

A. Football, It’s fun and exiting and I love it!

Q. Who was your favorite player?

A. I liked all the players on the team and some of my favorites were Jovon Johnson, Greg Carr and Terence Edwards

Q. Overall out of ten what would you rate the game?

A. It was too bad that the Bombers lost, but the actual game was pretty good. I would give it a 7. If the Bombers had won, it would’ve been a 9.

Good luck Blue!

Winnipeg Jets Vs Carolina Hurricanes on October, 22 2011.

For the Winnipeg Jets Burstomov, Wellwood, Kane, Ladd and Slater all scored goals   for Winnipeg. Slater was injured in that game. The Jets won the game 5-3.

Mark Sheiffelle was taken back to the OHL. He spent 17 days with the Winnipeg Jets. He made $85,000 with the jets and had a $925,000 salary. In the OHL he makes $50 a week. Its funny how things work.

Winnipeg Jets vs. New York rangers

Jim Slater is still out with an injury and Lunquist is not playing either so Biron is starting in goal. Goals for the New York Rangers are by Ruslan Feditenko and Ryan Callahan and the goal by the Jets is by Nik Antropov.

Winnipeg Jets vs. Philadelphia Flyers on October, 27 2011

For the Winnipeg Jets Ondrej Pavelec started in goal and for the Philadelphia Flyers Sergei Bobrovsky started in net. Those goalies didn’t stay for long because Pavelec and Mason switched and Bobrovsky and Ilya Brizgalov also switched. Slater was back in the line up on the GST line with Glass and Thorburn. Thorbun’s goal was waved off because there was no video evidence that the puck passed the line and Jets fans weren’t to happy about that. The goals by Jets were by Randy Jones, Jim Slater, Kyle Wellwood, Tanner Glass, Nik antropov, Evander Kane, Alex Burmistrov, Mark Stuart and last but not least Andrew Ladd. Goals for Philadelphia are by Scott Hartnell, Claude Giroux, Dany Briere (2), Maxime Talbot, Matt Read and James Van Riemsdyk (2). The Jets scored 5 goals in three minutes and twenty – two seconds. The JETS WON THE GAME 9-8!
