Nurit Drory carves sculptures out of Time, sets up relationships for a fall, and treks through nature in city dwellers’ boots. Romance and humour sneak in between the cracks. Themes intermingle beautifully making the experience of reading Limestone Lace an embodiment of the title image – intricate lines of meaning cross-threading throughout an elaborate yet accessible tapestry.
Nurit (Nora) Drory lives in the north end of Winnipeg and writes humour and poetry. “Dressed in Full Smiles” was published in 2007 and entered in the Stephen Leacock humour competition the same year. “Limestone Lace” is her first collection of poetry.
