National Council of Jewish Women of Canada, Winnipeg Section will be holding its Annual Meeting and Installation of Officers and Board of Directors on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 pm at 1606-323 Wellington Crescent.

There will be a presentation of financial statements, installation of officers and board

 Penny Kalef, who has been a tribute card seller for over 30 years, will be recognized for her dedication to NCJW.

 National Council of Jewish Women of Canada is celebrating a history of over 115 years of service in Canada.

National Council of Jewish Women of Canada has a mandate for education, service and social action which it carries out locally, nationally and internationally through sections.

 Some past and current initiatives include breast and ovarian program, ALUMA (formerly known as Israel Family Counselling Association), citizenship court, Gwen Secter Creative Living Centre, Books for Kids, shalach manot baskets for Jewish Child & Family Service, osteoporosis education program March, 14,2012.
