Gray Academy's Latest Partnership Opportunity To Clear Our Wait List

June 25, 2012

[The following is a letter sent to Gray Academy parents earlier this month]:

 Dear Gray Academy families,

Owing to our strong reputation for excellence, a growing Jewish Community, and our 97% student retention rate, we have been forced to place 14 students on a wait list for the upcoming academic year.

We are very pleased to inform you that the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg has approved an interest-free loan to ensure that Gray Academy will have the necessary funding to open a third classroom for each of its Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2 programs. This means that we can clear the current wait list and officially welcome every family that applied for registration for the 2012-2013 school year.

These additional classes will also impact the school’s classroom sizes, as more space and teaching resources will allow for proportionately decreasing student to teacher ratios in each of the affected grades.

Gray Academy is proud to continue to offer a learning environment where no student is left behind. We are especially pleased that this partnership between the Federation and the WBJE has enabled Gray Academy to pen its doors to all Jewish families who wish to be part of our school community.

Sincerely,

Rory Paul
