David Kroft, President of the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg (JFW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Adam Bronstone as CEO of the Federation effective August 18, 2014. Dr. Bronstone will succeed Mr. Robert Freedman who is retiring after 28 years of exemplary leadership as CEO.

A native Winnipegger, Dr. Bronstone returned to Winnipeg in January after almost 15 years in the US in senior management roles with the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, and the Jewish Federations of New Orleans, Jacksonville and Broward County, Florida. His Federation experience is broad, including responsibilities in Communal Planning, Allocations, Government Relations, Young Leadership, Research and Community Engagement. Immediately prior to returning to Winnipeg, Dr. Bronstone led fundraising and donor development for a New York professional and trades group, ORT America.
 
Dr. Bronstone holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Hull, UK, an MA in International Relations from York University in Toronto, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Manitoba.
