Gunn's Bakery Carries Large Variety of Kosher Meats and Poultry

by Rhonda Spivak, June 1, 2016

Some of the major grocery stores in the North End have recently decided to stop carrying kosher meat and other Kosher Products, but these meats and poultry  are still readily available at Gunn's, Arthur "Fivie" Gunn has told the Winnipeg Jewish Review.

"We wanted to make sure that  kosher meats and poultry would be readily available to service the North End Jewish Population as well as the rest of the city" he says.

Gunn's brings in Shefa meats from Toronto. We have briskets, steaks, ground beef,  stewing beef, short-ribs, beef ribs, etc...," He also noted that for people who like to barbeque, Gunn's will special order "rib-eye steaks, without the bone." Gunn's also has a "full variety of Marvid Chickens, such as whole chickens, chickens in eights,  thighs, legs and wings etc. Kosher Lamb is also available for those who wish to order it. If a customer has something in mind that they want, we are happy to bring it in for them," he adds.

"There is no delivery charge anywhere in the city for orders over $40.00," says Fivie.
