The JNF High Holiday Rabbi’s Luncheon: The proceeds from High Holiday Appeal to be directed to shelter for victims of domestic violence in Rishon LeZion

Sept 15, 2017

The JNF High Holiday Rabbi’s Luncheon was held on September 12, 2017 at Bermax Caffe.

The Synagogues participating in our campaign this year are: Congregation Etz Chayim, Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, Ashkenazi Congregation, Chavurat Tefilah Synagogue, Chevra Michnayes Synagogue, Herzlia-Adas Yeshurum Synagogue, Congregation Shir Tikvah, Talmud Torah Beth Jacob Synagogue, Chabad Lubavitch and Temple Shalom.

The Luncheon's Keynote Speaker was Superintendent Micky Rosenfeld, the Foreign Press Spokesman for the Israeli Police.

Thanks to all the Rabbis, Cantors, Synagogues' Presidents, Board Members and Executive Directors, and JNF Board Members that attended this event.  We are excited and grateful to our community for supporting JNF not just during the High Holidays but throughout the entire year as well.

The proceeds from this year's High Holiday Appeal will be directed towards building a shelter for victims of domestic violence in Rishon LeZion. The shelter will provide safe housing away from emotional and social contention. This enables families to rebuild their lives and start over in the wake of shattering abuse. JNF is working with the organization NO to Violence Against Women, helping victims of domestic violence and this project will have a life altering impact on women and children who desperately need this facility.
