A Prayer for the World
Through the conscious thought of G-D a dream was born for a human race,
We often wonder from where we came; what can we do and where is our place?
We ponder evolution – did G-d wish to create an image of himself in us?
Can peace be attained so harmony flows like waves for a new world trust?
When egos are traded for outstretched hands the world’s energy will change,
Helping others in need, not ourselves, the universe’s magnetic force will rearrange.
Happiness will spread and fill the earth with a luminescent glow,
He gave us the power to figure out the puzzle, that is what we know.
We must set apart differences and eliminate fear of others,
We can rejoice and say, “You are my sister and you are my brother.”
Then damaged souls and hatred will disappear outright.
It takes far too long to connect ourselves and end the bitter fight.
With blissful quiet the sounds of the world will finally morf into one
We are at peace; but our true journey has really just begun.
