Bulrushes Gallery is excited to begin its 2018 season with the opening of a brand new gallery.  Nestled in a tranquil and picturesque rural setting 3 kilometers west of Winnipeg Beach you will discover a wonderland of art that is Bulrushes Gallery.  This is the home of a truly unique collection of rediscovered Canadian art that is sure to surprise and delight even the most discriminating art enthusiast.  The gallery’s extensive collection has something for everyone, representing every medium and style, from traditional to modern and by many well recognized Manitoba and Canadian artists. The gallery is particularly proud of its extensive and extraordinary collection of fine Canadian original prints. The gallery’s original print collection is one of the finest in Manitoba and includes works by many of Canada’s foremost printmakers. To cap it off, these high quality original works of fine art come without a high end price tag. The gallery is also home to an incredible assortment of pottery and other art objects.  Many exceptional Manitoba artisans are represented in the gallery featuring fabulously whimsical sculptural works in clay, functional and decorative pottery, dazzling works of glass, delicate porcelain creations, one of kind pieces of jewelry and indoor and outdoor metal art. Scattered throughout the gallery you will also find vintage pieces of pottery by artisans from all over Canada.

The 2018 season is Bulrushes fourth year and many exciting changes are in store. We are thrilled to have with us again, and displaying fabulous new works, Cindy Flynn, Jo’Anne Kelly, Janet Dornian, Wendy Seversen, Nancy Crozier and Carolyn Strutt. This year we also have new artists joining the gallery. Stunning handcrafted jewelry by Cathy Sutton, pottery by Colleen Chamberlin and whimsical creations in clay by Susan Sutcliffe will now be featured. A collection of handmade soaps and bath products by Leslie Caron will also now treat each visitor. Additional surprises are instore for this summer. Perhaps the biggest change will be inspiring new gallery space. The new and larger gallery is located at 809 Kernstead Road right next door from the previous gallery. Its rustic charm, including walls clad in rich reclaimed barn board, creates a warm, friendly and cozy place to browse and take in all the beauty that surrounds you. The new space is part of a two year plan to grow the gallery and secure its reputation as a must do destination spot in the Interlake.  The gallery is open June through September, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. and by appointment throughout the week and all year round.
