City of Kenora To Sell Portions Of Town Island That BB Camp Does Not Own

posted October 29, 2019

[Editor's note: On Sept 27, Jerrod Henoch, Executive Director of BB Camp sent out the  email below to BB Camp Friends, Families and Supporters indicating that the City of Kenora intends to proceed to Sell Portions of Town Island that BB Camp Does Not Own]

Dear BB Camp Friends, Families, and Supporters,

Shana Tova. Thank you for choosing BB Camp and for your dedication and support. On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff we would like to wish you and your family a very sweet and happy New Year.

As we begin a New Year, a new challenge has presented itself. We have recently become aware that the City of Kenora intends to proceed with the sale of the portions of Town Island that BB Camp does not own. You can read their press release here: http://kenora.ca/436243/city-proceeds-with-the-sale-of-town-island/. At this time the content of this press release is all the information we have available.

While we are disappointed in this development we want to reassure the community that our ownership of the Camp, our facilities, infrastructure, and approximately 30 acres of the island are secure and we are looking forward to a wonderful program in 2020 and for years to come. We are currently exploring our options and will keep you updated as new information becomes available. If you have questions or concerns or would like to discuss this matter in greater detail please contact BB Camp’s Executive Director Jerrod Henoch at [email protected] or 204-477-7512.

May this New Year be full of blessings, health, happiness, prosperity and good news . L’shanah Tovah! Happy Rosh Hashanah!

In service,
Jerrod

?Jerrod Henoch | Executive Director BB Camp
