My sister, Roxanne Kirshner, got to go to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers game against the Montreal Alouettes. She is eight years old and it was her first football game and she loved it! This game was important because the winner of the game would take over the first place in the Eastern division. Anthony Calvio, the Montreal quarterback, threw three interceptions in the game and that is the first time he’s done this since September 12, 2008. One of the interceptions was by Blue Bomber cornerback Jovon Johnson who now leads the league in interceptions. To top it off the Bombers came back from a fifteen-point deficit and won the game by one point.
Interview with Roxanne Kirshner:
Q: Did you like the game?
A: I enjoyed the game and there was so much screaming and cheering when Blue Bombers had good plays and a lot of booing when Montreal got points.
Q: Did you like the seats?
A: Yes the seats were amazing and the players were so close - it was such an amazing view.
Q: What was your favorite part of the game?
A: My favorite part of the game was when Bombers would score touchdowns and the crowd would go wild.
Q: What was your least favorite part of the game?
A: My least favorite part of the game was when the referee yelled. I found that annoying.
GOOD LUCK BOMBERS!
