[The Winnipeg Jeiwsh review will be doing a full report on the  B'nai Brith Award of Merit Dinner Honouring Sandy and  Robert Shindleman. The speech below was delivered by Sandy and Dianne Shindleman's daughter Annie , age 7 in grade 2-who was too cute for words]

My speech is about Daddy and Robert.

First Daddy. He is the best, he tells some good jokes.
You’re the number one joke man.
I get some of my good jokes from him.
Like this one, because what speech doesn’t have a joke in it?
Knock, Knock,
Who’s there?
Cream Pie.
Cream Pie who?
Cream Pie in your face.
Moving on.
He tells some good stories that have my favorite animal, a duck, in them.
He eats some weird dinners. He goes to weird places.
I’ll be getting back to Daddy after Robert.
Robert has been a great uncle for as long as I have known him.
He is also very funny.
I love to joke around with him but I am not as wild as my cousins, one is here tonight, Anna-Lena.
Robert and I have good times, that I wish will never stop. We like to play in the dark on Friday nights after dinner.
Getting back to Daddy.
He always sits at the head of the table. He thinks big at work.
We invented cuddle time together. We sit in the dark and tell stories.
We have great discussions, he is interested in cars and I am a little interested as well.
This speech is done and they are both the best.
Thank you.
One more thing.
We all have good conversations and good times.
