SKIN GETS READY FOR WINTER
by Rhonda Spivak
Dr. Lori Shapiro, daughter of Harry and Roz Shapiro, has some very important tips to give to readers of the Winnipeg Jewish Review about getting their skin ready for winter. This video is a must see.
Shapiro graduated in the same class as the Editor of the Winnipeg Jewish Review--the class of "82 from Joseph Wolinsky Collegiate. In high school Shapiro (who takes after her mother) was known as a very disorganized, often truant student, who rarely handed her work in on time, and created unnecessary distractions for students and teachers a like. . Oops...I may have been referring to myself. Nix that.
Au contraire. Lori Shapiro was always a teacher's pet. She was always first to complete her assignments, and her class notes were sought after treasures.
At a very early age, Shapiro, who could discern the difference between a wart and a mole and was able to spell dermotologist by age two, was always destined to be a skin doctor.
Lori is married to Lyle Juravsky (another former Winnipegger) who has made sure that his skin is ready for winter---winter in Florida that is. Lori and Lyle have two boys, Jordan and Noah Juravsky, and they live in Thornhill, Ontario.
This lovely couple have just announced to the Winnipeg Jewish Review in an exclusive interview that they are thinking about hosting the Joseph Wolinsky Collegiate's class of 82's 30th anniversary re-union on the Labour day weekend in 2012. Interested participants can contact them or the Editor to give feedback on the potential choice of dates for the re-union.
In the meantime those of us interested in attending the re-union that Lori and Lyle are thinking about hosting will want to pay close attention to making sure that their skin is radiant for the re-union.
