The holiday of Purim. A reminder that King Ahasuers of Persia, the precursor tomodern Iran, plotted to destroy the Jewish people. Today another tyrant, Iranian President Ahmadinejad, has announced his intention to do the same.
B’nai Brith welcomes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Canada, where he will speak of the current danger Iran poses to the Jewish people and the entire western world. His message needs to be heard.
Canadians and Israelis are united in their resolve to stand firm in the face of this threat.
