B’nai Brith OnCampus-Winnipeg (BBOC-Wpg) evolved as a result of a grass roots initiative. B’nai Brith Winnipeg’s mandate is to “dispel the myth, change the narrative and teach the truth” (like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/bbocwpg).

Our Mission Statement is:

  • To expose the acceptance of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish culture which exists on university campuses and to raise awareness of its negative effects on Jewish students, staff and alumni and by extension, the entire community.

  • To coordinate and to facilitate effective programming and advocacy for Jewish students and staff at the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg in order "to change the narrative".

  • To challenge the global propaganda campaign against Israel; to counter the antisemitic rhetoric and events which delegitimize, demonize, and devalue the Jewish State.
