Taking Steps - a Bereavement Support Group begins on Monday, October 15^th (10:00 am to noon) and will continue until December 3^rd.. This non-denominational group is specially designed for those who have experienced the death of a loved one. Its aim is to provide support, education and healing through the difficult journey of adjustment. The Bereavement Group is facilitated by Shelley Levit, M.S.W. Shelley has over thirty years of experience both in therapeutic counselling and group facilitation, at Jewish Child and Family Service. She brings many skills and sensitivity to those who are dealing with difficult transitions in their lives. The group is taking place at the Congregation Etz Chayim but is jointly sponsored by Congregation Etz Chayim, Congregation Shaarey Zedek, Hospice and Palliative Care along with JCFS.
