At the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg's Annual General Meeting on December 12, it was reported that the CJA campaign is up by over 230,000 compared to last year at this time. Here are the stats as of December 12:

The following is the Report from the Federation's Elections Committee to the Board of Directors DIRECTORS, dated November 28, 2012, submitted by

REPORT FROM THE JEWISH FEDERATION OF WINNIPEG ELECTIONS COMMITTEE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
I am pleased to submit the report of the Elections Committee.
With respect to Board Appointments, the Committee makes the following recommendations, subject to board ratification:
To be appointed for a three-year term: Dov Secter and Evgueni Shusterman.
The Committee would like to thank former board members Ivy Kopstein, Ted Lyons, Howard Morry and Yosef Perlman for their service to Federation. Thank you also to Heather Leonoff for serving as the representative of Jewish Child and Family Service, and to Eric Sawyer for serving as the Rady Centre representative.
With respect to the election of Executive Committee members for 2013 the Committee proposes the following slate:

Adam Levene: Chair, Allocations
Aileen Berger-White: Chair, Community Engagement
David Gisser: Chair, Community Planning
Zane Tessler: Chair, Community Relations

Fay-Lynn Katz: Chair, Next Generation Initiatives
As per Article VII (1)(b), further nominations supported by at least two members of the Board may be submitted to the Board for any of the above-noted positions at least two days prior to the Board meeting.
