The Canadian Associates of Ben – GurionUniversity of the Negev (CABGU) is proud to welcome Samantha Loxton as its Executive Director for the Manitoba Regional office.
Samantha Loxton has 10 years of professional experience in the fundraising/non – profit sector. Before joining CABGU, Samantha was employed at Jewish National Fund of Canada – Manitoba & Saskatchewan Region (JNF) as the Communications & Program Coordinator. Her main responsibilities included generating revenue from both the creation of new and existing programming, in addition, to delivering various sources of communications that positively branded and promoted JNF.
Samantha was also employed for a number of years at the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg (JFW) in the roles of Leadership Development Director, as well as the Hillel and Jewish Campus Life Director. During her tenure at the JFW, Samantha successfully increased personal donations to the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg’s Combined Jewish Appeal and sponsorship contributions to the various outreach programs hosted by the Young Adult Division or Hillel.
Samantha’s professional development training includes post-grad work in employment counselling, a University Degree and College Diploma. Samantha has also taken strategic leadership courses from the Banff Centre for Leadership and Innovation in Banff, AB., in addition to certified human resources professional development courses from the University of Manitoba.
