Eytan played on the Israeli junior golf team while I played on the Israeli masters team. Eytan played exceptionally well earning the individual silver medal and team gold medal. After three rounds he had the overall lead with scores of 75, 73 and 74. Another Israeli player shot 70 in the last round to beat Eytan out for the individual gold medal by a couple of shots. The two players, however, lead the Israeli team to the gold medal.
In the Masters division the Israeli team won the silver medal, missing out for gold by only 2 shots. Coming to the final day there was a three way tie for the lead between Canada, US and Israel with the US squeaking out the win.
Eytan participated in 2 other events this past summer. He represented Israel at the Latvian Open finishing 8th out of 75 players. He also played in the Nick Faldo Series tournament in Greece finishing 3rd in his age category. His younger brother Alon also played in this tournament, finishing 12th.
Don't just live, play golf!
