Mr. Mel Lazareck is honoured to nominate Dr. Catherine Chatterley for a 2014 YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Award in the category of Education, Training and Mentorship.
The YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Awards were established in 1977 to recognize women who are not only model citizens but also: outstanding achievers who have made unique and exemplary contributions to the development of others and to their community; pioneers who have inspired us through their creativity, leadership, compassion and dedication; and, role models and advocates who have used their talents, vision and determination to make the world a better place.
As many of you know, Catherine’s vision, commitment, and practice related to the study of Antisemitism in both its historical and contemporary forms, her understanding of related Human Rights Education and Social Justice programming and policy, as well as her involvement with local, national, and international scholarly and educational communities concerned with human rights and responsibilities distinguish her nomination as a 2014 Woman of Distinction.
Please consider joining us at the 2014 Awards Gala Dinner on Wednesday, May 7th, 2014 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. Come and be a part of a magical evening inspired by women of distinction. Tickets are now on sale and are available here.
Thank you for your consideration and support,
Mel Lazareck
