Letter from Zane Zalis re Update on "I Believe"

April 27, 2014

Hello Rhonda,

I do hope this note finds you doing very well!

I thought that you might be interested in receiving an update regarding "i believe".

The European premiere (Stuttgart) of the full score of I believe took place in Nov., 2013 and it was simply a work of passion and commitment that moved two sold out audiences very deeply. Representatives from government, university, media and general public embraced the event with mind and heart. Simply put, it was as it was hoped to be!

This coming November 9, 2014,, I believe will be performed at Lincoln Center -Alice Tully Hall. It will be the 2nd half of a large show. This version of I believe (65 minutes- all 12 movements with minor changes) will have approx. 180 singers on stage with full orchestra.
Alice Tully Hall is world renowned for its acoustics and had a significant overhaul in 2009.
The chorus will include singers from Stuttgart(Germany), Murau (Austria), and Winnipeg - an international event.

As you know, Alice Tully Hall holds approx. 1100 seats and is often seen as the site for PBS - Great Performances.

Please know that over a hundred VIP tickets have been purchased already and the box office is not yet open to the public.

If you are interested and wish to spread this information it would be helpful to those who have a sincere interest in the "i believe project"

Approx, 20,000 people to date have experienced either the full or excerpted performance of the work.

All the best and take care

Zane
