WINNIPEG SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA GALA "PUTTIN ON THE GLITZ" - APRIL 23, 2015

by WSO, February 25, 2015

The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra invites you to attend one of the most anticipated Galas of the year – Puttin’ on the Glitz – on April 23, 2015 at the RBC Convention Centre.

This 1920s inspired evening revives all the glitz, glamour, and fanfare of the Golden Age. This is your opportunity to dance to the music of the WSO, enjoy a gourmet dinner, and bid on unique silent/live auction prizes. Win a trip in Executive Class to any Air Canada destination, a river cruise in Europe, a magnificent multi-diamond ring, a VIA Rail west coast trip, a Leo Mol sketch, and many more wonderful prizes!

The evening begins with cocktails in the piano lounge at 5:30 p.m., followed by a three-course meal. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best 1920s attire to be entered in a prize for best outfit.

Puttin’ on the Glitz supports the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and its many Education & Outreach initiatives, and helps the orchestra to remain at the centre of Winnipeg’s cultural foundation.

Individual tickets are available for $220, Corporate Table for $2,520, and Sponsor Table for $5,000 – each with their associated benefits.

For more information or to purchase tickets, please contact Shenna Song at (204) 949-3979 or [email protected].

Come as a flapper or come as you are,

Dress as a gangster or silent screen star,

It’s going to be fun – no matter the dress,

Just bring yourself, and we’ll do the rest!
