Jewish Child and Family Service (JCFS) Announces the Addition of
Three New Faces to its Team of Dedicated Professionals.
Winnipeg, July 22, 2015, JCFS is proud to announce the addition of two new Child
Welfare professionals in addition to the appointment of a Director of Communications
and Outreach to assist the agency in ensuring that its work is recognized in the broader community and that potential clients are aware of the scope of its services.
New Child Welfare Team Members Bring Fresh Perspectives and Expertise to the Agency
Wade Bilodeau BA (Psych) – Supervisor of Child Welfare, has over 25 years of experience in child welfare work in various program areas with Interlake Child and Family Services in Selkirk. He brings with him an open, collaborative and engaging style, in addition to a wide range of CFS expertise and management skills.
David Azuelos BA, BSW, MSW – Child Protection & Family Service Worker, comes to
JCFS after repatriating to Winnipeg from Toronto with his spouse. David had practiced child welfare for 6 years in Vancouver with the Ministry of Child and Family Development, as well as for 3 years in Toronto having worked with both Jewish Family and Child and the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto. He also brings a clinical social work lens to JCFS, as a focus of his MSW.
The Agency Opens a New Chapter with the Creation of the Position of Director of
Communications and Outreach Rena Elbaze PhD (Information and Communications Sciences) – Director of Communications and Outreach, joins JCFS in a newly created position bringing with her over 25 years’ experience in the fields of Communications, Marketing and Outreach. Since returning to Winnipeg with her family from France in 2007, where she worked and studied for over 20 years, Rena has worked for the Economic Development Council for Manitoba’s Bilingual Municipalities (CDEM), Canada’s International Education Brand through the Council of Ministers of Education Canada (CMEC), Manitoba Trade and Investment and more recently with the
Jewish Federation of Winnipeg creating inroads into the community through a variety of outreach programs and initiatives.
