Join Us for for Launch of the Winnipeg Jewish Business Council Dec 14 At Shaarey Zedek: Bob Silver, Gavin Rich and More to Speak at Event

Come celebrate the third night of Hanukkah with us!

The official launch of the Winnipeg Jewish Business Council, which is a non-profit corporation, will be on December 14 2017, at the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue. The after party will be at Jekyll and Hyde’s on Stradbrook, featuring DJ Shael who will play European House music.

The mandate of the council is to “Provide a Jewish networking forum for businesses in Manitoba, and developing out of box ideas for events and creating a relationships with Israeli companies promoting its business innovations.

The reception with refreshments starts at 6.30 pm, and the panel discussion will begin at 7:00 pm. Furthermore, four entrepreneurs will be on the panel to discuss various topics including, building a successful company and challenges they may face from the NAFTA negotiations. These dynamic leaders in our community who will be speaking are:

Bob Silver, owner of Western Glove Works and the co Owner of the Winnipeg Free Press

Gavin Rich, President of RIchlu Manufacturing of Tough Duck

Marietta Mulaire, President and CEO of the World Trade Centre Winnipeg

Catherine Metrycki, owner of Callia Flowers

A Combo ticket is $15 (which includes entrance to the event and the after party) If you only want to go to the party it is $10.00 and you can pay at the door (Jekyll and Hyde’s on Stradbrook). It is hoped that people will purchase the combo ticket on Eventbrite through the link above.A portion of the ticket sales will go to the United Way Winnipeg Campaign. We are also accepting winter clothes for United Way and/or perishable food items for Manitoba Harvest.
