Mosab Hassan Yousef, The Son of Hamas will present his personal Journey on April 23, 2018

Press Release, March 8, 2018

The presentation is planned for Monday, April 23, 2018 at 7:30 pm and will be held at the Grand Ballroom at The Fort Garry Hotel, 222 Broadway.

A private VIP reception is scheduled prior to the lecture and will begin at 5:30.

Mosab Hassan Yousef is the oldest son of the founding spiritual leader of Hamas, Sheikh Hassan Yousef. As such, he wanted to be an active member of Hamas and fight Israel. He was arrested by the Israeli authorities and began to change his views regarding Hamas, Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

He worked as an undercover agent for Israel's internal security service, Shin-Bet from 1997 to 2007. The Shin- Bet considered him its most valuable source within the Hamas leadership. The information he supplied prevented dozens of suicide attacks and assassinations of Israeli civilians.

Mosab converted to Christianity and left the West Bank for the United States in 2007.

Mosab co-authored his Best-Selling autobiography “The Son of Hamas”. He was also the Star of a documentary film “The Green Prince”. Mosab is an outspoken advocate for Israel and he is invited to speak all over the world. Recently, he spoke on behalf of The UN Watch group in the United Nations. His goal is to bring peace to the Middle East.

The lecture is sponsored by The Winnipeg Friends of Israel, Bridges for Peace Canada and The Jewish Foundation of Manitoba
