On November 10, 2023, the Israeli Community of Winnipeg organized a deeply moving display at Memorial Park to shine a spotlight on the 240 Israelis who have been abducted by Hamas. The display included approximately 240 empty chairs, each adorned with photos of the victims, alongside heartfelt symbols like stuffed animals, balloons, and Israeli flags. Passerby  were given informative pamphlets, guiding them to comprehend the immense gravity of the situation.

The event drew in a significant number of people, all united in their passion and commitment to show support and empathy for the victims and their families. This outpouring of emotion and solidarity underscored the unwavering strength of the Israeli community in Winnipeg, demonstrating their collective dedication to advocate for urgent causes related to the Jewish State.
